Secrets to use an Add-on Macro Lens with your iPhone and iOS 15.1



 
If you are using an iPhone, say 1iPhone 13, and with iOS 15.0,
and you are a macro Photography lover.



Then you will find you have no way to use the add-on macro lens.

The one choice is to use the built-in macro lens as each time you lean the phone to the phone, you will find your iPhone will smartly turn the camera from ultra-wide angle mode to the macro mode.



There is not other way you can do.
What you can do?

Definitely that Apple also found such draw-back, so in iOS 15.1, they have a new function. You can have the Auto Macro OFF, then you can have your macro photography as normal as before...

Find difficulties to take Macro Pictures with your iPhone?


 If you got difficulties to take macro pictures with your iPhone, then you may turn off the AUTO MACRO and use the built-in ultra wide angle lens to take macro pictures.

In iOS 15.1, it allows you to turn off the auto macro.

(Path: Settings=>Camera==>at the bottom, you will find. )

Sounds crazy, but macro pictures from an add-on macro lens is always better than the built-in macro lens.
